Biographie
David est né à Cherbourg en France le 31 mars 1980. Il a débuté la guitare à 14 ans sous l'influence de son premier professeur Daniel Cordhomme. A 16 ans, il suit le cours de jazz de Stéphane Fleury et il s'inscrit à l'école municipale de musique dans le cours de Fabrice Paris. Après trois ans d’études de guitare classique, il obtient son diplôme de fin d’études mention très bien. Souhaitant évoluer musicalement, il part à Paris pour se perfectionner dans la théorie et la pratique de la musique moderne à l'American Jazz School ou il suit des cours de guitare avec Mike O'Neil. L'année suivante, il rencontre Sammy Daussat avec lequel il apprend la guitare manouche. A 27 ans il rentre dans la classe de Mariapina Roberti ( concertiste internationale) qui lui ouvre de nouveaux horizons musicaux et avec laquelle il organise un concert en duo. David s'est également produit sur des scènes parisiennes comme le café de Paris , le chat noir.
Biography
David was born in Cherbourg, France on March 31, 1980. He started playing the guitar at the age of 14 under the influence of his first teacher Daniel Cordhomme. At the age of 16, he took Stéphane Fleury's jazz course and enrolled at the municipal music school in the course of Fabrice Paris. After three years of classical guitar studies, he graduated with high honors. Wishing to evolve musically, he left for Paris to perfect himself in the theory and practice of modern music at the American Jazz School where he took guitar lessons with Mike O'Neil. The following year, he met Sammy Daussat with whom he learned the gypsy guitar. At the age of 27, he joined the class of Mariapina Roberti (international concertist) who opened up new musical horizons for him and with whom he organized a duo concert. David has also performed on stages in Paris such as le café de Paris, le chat noir.
